    William (Chad) Cragun, MD

    Dr. W. Chad Cragun received his medical degree in 2005 from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency training in Dermatology and served as Chief Resident at the combined Army/ Air Force training program located at Brooke Army and Wilford Hall Medical Centers in San Antonio, Texas. Following his residency training, he had the distinct experience of deploying to an austere area of Afghanistan as an infantry doctor with the 101st Airborne Division. Prior to separating from the military and joining a private practice in 2013, Dr. Cragun finished his commitment to the military as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Cragun practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He also participates in clinical research trials. Given Dr. Cragun's personal journey with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, he has a special interest in chronic inflammatory disease states and their associated comorbidities. When not working, Dr. Cragun enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly, and their five kids.
