UCB at the 2022 AAD Annual Meeting: Our Commitment to Advancing Science in Dermatology

We are delighted to be joining leading skin specialists and research scientists at the 2022 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting (25-29 March) – the first ‘live’ AAD meeting in three years. What a difference it makes to be able to discuss the latest research, opportunities and challenges in person with our colleagues and friends in the dermatology community here in Boston. UCB is proud to contribute to the 2022 AAD Annual Meeting, with its extensive state-of-the-art research presentations and educational opportunities.

At this year’s meeting, we look forward to sharing important new scientific data from our clinical portfolio across 13 posters and one late-breaking oral presentation. These include new data focused on long-term complete skin clearance from our research programs on psoriasis – a life-long disease that affects approximately 125 million people worldwide.

Psoriasis is a common, chronic inflammatory disease mainly affecting the skin. Signs and symptoms can vary but may include red patches of skin covered with silvery scales; dry, cracked skin that may bleed; and thickened, pitted or ridged nails.

The wealth of scientific data we are presenting at the meeting underscores our commitment to achieving scientific advances in care and focusing on what matters most to people living with psoriasis.

At the meeting, UCB will also host an educational symposium “Under the Surface: Exploring the Pathophysiology and Unmet Needs in Patients with Psoriasis”. Speakers will share fresh insights into the underlying disease mechanisms of psoriasis and a deep understanding of patients’ desire to live the best life they can – as free as possible from the challenges and uncertainty of their condition.

We invite healthcare professionals attending the meeting to join our educational symposium and visit us at our exhibition booths where you will have the opportunity to meet members of our UCB team, discuss the latest research and explore further innovative approaches to help address the unmet needs of people with psoriasis.

We look forward to seeing you!
